Runya Runya, also shortened to just Runya by herself, is the primary author of the Monster Girl Encyclopedia World Guide III: Sabbath Grimoire. Despite being a baphomet and even being born in a magocracy nation, Runya Runya gets sleepy whenever she tries to use magic and is thus unable to cast a spell. Refusing to give up, Runya Runya continuously gathered knowledge regarding various systems of magic, and eventually became one of the most knowledgeable baphomets. At 12, Runya Runya becomes a famed novelist with the novel "Magical ☆ Baphomet", based on a fantasy of herself having realized her dream of becoming able to use magic, and being called "mage of letters" by Bapho-sama. She is also well known among magi due to the publications of "Comparative Mana Theory" and "Plans for Magically Constructed Futuristic Cities" due to her unusual perspective regarding magic and mana.
Runya Runya is also the representative baphomet of a Sabbath branch, known as Runya Runya Sabbath or Library Sabbath, which is specialized in knowledge gathering and publishing books. Despite her inability to use magic, Runya Runya credits her follower witches for her managing to serve as a representative. Like most baphomets introduced in Sabbath Grimoire, Runya Runya has a nickname "The Sleepy Magical Archive".
It's noted that Runya Runya has horrifically low self-esteem in contrast to her bold writing[1]. She seems to give high priority on comfort; offering room and board with three meals along with a witch to recruit onii-chans, as well as emphasis on comfort and ease when design the Sabbath's uniform[2]. Unusually for a baphomet, Runya Runya seems to be sympathetic with aggressive males. She notes how it is "unfortunate" that a mamono struck by a male's Seduction Spell is more likely to mercilessly ravish him instead of letting him have his way with her as much as he pleases, and also encourages Sabbath's onii-chans to coercively drag a witch to bed if she is too indulged in researching[3]. She expressed jealousy toward Momonika Sabbath[4] and Ropurotto Sabbath, even wants to transfer to the latter[5]. Although Runya Runya often gives vivid details regarding lewd elements, she is actually inexperienced when it comes to sex and intimacy, often has to relay what she heard from other mamono[6].
It is revealed in the afterword of Sabbath Grimoire that she has met the Wandering Scholar and gave him a projecting mirror to keep in touch. He was supposed to help her with the book, but the scholar mysteriously went missing while travelling to the Mist Continent[7].
As of the present, she remains unmarried. She seems to be loved by her witches, as they are seeking a wonderful husband for her.

The sabbath whose representative is the writer! In part, it functions as one of the world's largest and most preeminent repositories of magical knowledge, an enormous library with a collection of wisdom.
I, Runya Runya, was born a baphomet, and yet I am unable to use magic. But I have never given up on using magic, and as a result of continuously gathering knowledge regarding various systems of magic, I have even become one of the most knowledgeable of all baphomets. I wrote a book based on my knowledge and yearning for magic which was approved by the baphomet elders, and I established a Sabbath specializing in my area of expertise. I am lazy and selfish, and somehow I get sleepy whenever I try to use magic; for that reason, I sleep all the time, yet thanks to the bright witches who are my followers, somehow I am managing to serve as a representative.
My sabbath, specialized for dealing with magical knowledge, manages accumulated knowledge and converts it into the form of more readable books and files which we then distribute to Sabbaths throughout the world. On the other hand, the results of magical research conducted by Sabbaths throughout the world are also provided to us, so it seems our Sabbath is treasured as the place which accumulates all the wisdom of the Sabbaths in name and fact.
Furthermore, by merging with an organization of “ratatoskr”, squirrel beastmen who excel at handling information, we have currently become able to accumulate even broader information. Not only do we gather information, we also make efforts to use it to write a broad range of creative books, everything from specialized books in all areas such as “Sabbath Magic Encyclopedia”, to informative magazines such as “Sabbath Journal”, and “Monthly Onii-chan”, or even popular entertainment novels such as “Magical ☆ Baphomet”. Currently, my sabbath is recruiting “onii-chans” interested in writing activities or gathering information as investigators. You get room and board with three meals, your own witch, and you can use the data we've accumulated as much as you like. Even beginners are welcome.
A Word From Baphomet:
I cannot use magic. That is precisely why it looks so luminous and wonderful to me.
It's the Author Introduction! (WG3)

The Sleepy Magical Archive
Runya Runya
The baphomet who serves as the leader of the great library of wisdom, an agglomeration of magical knowledge boasted by Sabbath, a.k.a. "Runya Runya Sabbath." She was born in the Magocracy of Pressia in the year XXX ME. As a baphomet born "without the gift of magic", unlike other baphomets who played with toys formed of their own mana, she has spent her life immersed in books and letters since early childhood, and before she knew it, she herself had also taken up the brush. She became world famous at the age of 12 when she wrote the popular fiction novel "Magical ☆ Baphomet" based on a fantasy of herself having realized her dream of becoming able to use magic. It's a story about a failed magical girl who becomes able to freely use magic by borrowing the power of "Fairy-san" and goes on to save many humans and monsters using the power of magic. It's more than just a simple work of fiction that fascinates children, as the gripping psychological depiction of the protagonist moved even "Bapho-sama" of Mamono Lord's Army Sabbath to tears, inducing her to declare that the writing of Runya Runya is tantamount to a spell formula, and Runya Runya is a "mage of letters" whose stories are magical.
She has also been very active as a scholar of magic, and due perhaps to the fact that she can't use magic, she has a very unusual point of view concerning magic and mana. She has garnered lots of attention from countless magi and baphomets due to publications such as "Comparative Mana Theory" which unravels the mysteries of life itself based on differences in the mana possessed by all living things and "Plans for Magically Constructed Futuristic Cities", which details the prospects of improving people's lives by utilizing the power of magic.
As of the present, she remains unmarried. Contrary to her bold mannerisms on the written page, she has horrifically low self esteem, so even when she does have the opportunity to approach men, the second thing that comes out of her mouth will be something such as: "Instead of the likes of Runya...", "Don't bother with Runya until later...", always yielding to other witches. For that reason, with the full support of the witches, we are currently seeking a wonderful husband for her who will always treat her as #1.
