< Lamia
Trivia
- Even in the age of the former mamono lords, monsters of the lamia and harpy families (among others) were still dependent on human men for reproduction. Normally there was no love involved, and once young were born the man would be eaten. However, in rare cases the monster would awaken to feelings of love and affection, overcoming her killing instincts and living with the man as something like a married couple. (source: Kenkou’s Japanese Q and A).
- A human woman wearing the shed skin of a lamia family monster can turn into a lamia herself, if the lamia has firmly embedded her mana into it. In exceptional cases, the woman may become an echidna. (source: Kenkou’s Japanese Q and A).
- The tongue of a lamia is a universal sensor that can detect not only the taste of her husband, but also determine temperature and distinguish smells! When she kisses, she naturally penetrates her husband's mouth with her tongue, receiving all the information about him, and intertwines with him to enjoy every inch of his body! (source: quote of KC tweet).
- It seems that lamias spend at least ten minutes on one deep kiss. And they usually want to get another kiss in return. When kissing, these monster girls instinctively want to increase the number of places and the area of the body in contact with the husband - this leads to complete mess♥ Even a Medusa with a fairly low depravity, if you still kiss her, will turn bright red after the kiss. (source: quote of KC tweet).
- Lamia villages can appear surprisingly normal in their treatment of male travelers, providing room and board via a village inn. However, a given room in the inn will often actually be "owned" by a unmarried lamia, and the man who stays in the inn will often have been selected by a lamia as her mate by the time he enters the village, or even beforehand. The innkeeper will make sure the man stays in the room owned by that lamia. Unclaimed men may be put in "open rooms" and their information made available to all the lamia in the village. Each room has a "night crawling hole" that only a lamia can slither through to facilitate night time ravishing. (source: KC tweet).
